In August 2019, Kevin Ombati, an Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering graduate of JKUAT joined 98 other Kenyan students for an eleven-month agricultural internship at Arava International Center for Agricultural Training, Israel. No sooner had they finished 6 months than the novel Coronavirus hit the globe forcing most countries to close their borders.
