Coastline states such as Kenya could easily enhance their economic fortunes by tapping into a wide array resources such as sea food and marine biotechnology; sea-bed mining. Additional benefits can come from fishing, and generation of new resources such as energy and fresh water. Kenya, over the years has only focused on fishing for both domestic and export market.
